What is PHYGITALL?

PHYGITALL is a Brazilian industrial IoT and connected worker company. We develop hardware and software that protect industrial workers and connect them to the digital processes of the plant: real-time geolocation, an emergency button, auditable evidence, and artificial intelligence applied to operations.

Solutions

Two paths, one platform.

Safety and productivity come from the same field data. Start with your operation's biggest pain point and expand when it makes sense.

Digital PPE

Smartbadge: protection worn on every worker's chest.

PHYGITALL's smart badge is Ex-certified for hazardous areas and approved by INMETRO and ANATEL, Brazil's certification body and telecom regulator. It's the entry point to a complete ecosystem: hardware, software, and a LoRaWAN network in a single solution.

  • Emergency button with an immediate response from the control room

  • Real-time location at scale, inside and outside hazardous areas

  • Direct communication with workers in the field

  • Auditable evidence for risk management and compliance

Privacy respected: the Smartbadge records no audio or video.

How it works

From field to decision,
the invisible becomes visible.

  • 01

    Worker

Field workers wear the digital PPE like a badge and go about their work as usual.

  • 02

    Device

The Smartbadge logs presence, location, and emergency calls, with no audio or video recording.

  • 03

    LoRaWAN network

PHYGITALL's private network covers the entire plant, even where cell signal doesn't reach.

  • 04

    Platform

Data becomes real-time alerts, auditable evidence, and the operational visibility to decide right away.

Energy

Petrobras

More than 5,000 connected workers in Itaboraí, with the potential to expand to 8,000.

The challenge
Maximum scale in a petrochemical environment The Petrobras operation in Itaboraí brings together thousands of workers in a petrochemical environment, where electronic equipment can enter hazardous (classified) areas only with Ex certification. Taking connected worker technology to that scale called for a device approved for explosive atmospheres and up to the standards of Brazil's largest company.
The solution
Ex-certified Smartbadge, approved for use at Petrobras The Smartbadge with Ex certification was approved for use at Brazil's largest company. Each worker wears the digital PPE like an ID badge, with real-time location, an emergency button, and direct communication with the control room, inside and outside hazardous areas.
The result
Brazil's largest connected worker deployment More than 5,000 workers are connected in Itaboraí, with the potential to expand to 8,000. It is the largest connected worker deployment in the country, and it brings operational visibility to industrial safety where the bar is highest.
Aerospace

Embraer

The first major company to put its trust in PHYGITALL.

The challenge
Locating every piece of landing gear tooling In aircraft production, landing gear tooling moves between indoor and outdoor areas of the plants in São José dos Campos. Knowing where each item was, and whether it was available, was critical to keeping the operation moving.
The solution
Indoor and outdoor tracking, with availability status PHYGITALL deployed indoor and outdoor tracking for the landing gear tooling, showing whether each item is available. The project took shape between 2016 and 2017, with mentorship through the Startup Rio and Startup-Industry Connection programs, and the contract was signed at the ELEB plant.
The result
The entry point to large industrial companies Embraer became the first major company to trust PHYGITALL, and the partnership showed that the technology met the rigorous demands of aerospace.
Defense and naval

Brazilian Navy

Brazil's first Internet of Things network was born in Guanabara Bay.

The challenge
Tracking vessels across an entire bay The Brazilian Navy needed to track vessels in Guanabara Bay, a vast area where cell coverage can't support the operation. The answer called for a dedicated long-range network, able to exchange data with each vessel in both directions.
The solution
A pioneering IoT network over the bay In 2018, PHYGITALL and the Navy built Brazil's first Internet of Things network, with long-range, two-way telemetry: data travels from the vessel to the control room, and commands make the return trip. The project was carried out with CIAW, a Navy training center, and demonstrated at the RIDEX 2018 defense exhibition.
The result
Operational visibility for defense and the naval sector The pioneering network made real-time vessel tracking possible. The same long-range network engineering now supports PHYGITALL's private LoRaWAN network in industrial plants.
